Ajauudis 2012/05: Kas suhtlustarkvara kontrollib sind või sina teda?

Igas kuus kasutab Skype-i üle 200 miljoni inimese. Kui lisame siia veel Microsofti MSN-i, Yahho Messenger-i ja veel trobikonna muud suhtlustarkvara, siis on selge, et tänapäeva kontorid on läbi imbunud erinevatest kiirete sõnumite edastamiseks mõeldud programmidest. Nagu ikka heade töövahenditega – ühe käsi hoiab kirvest puude lõhkumiseks, teine sõdimiseks ja kolmas puuskulptuuride voolimiseks. Ehk siis tööriista kasulikkuse määrab see, kuidas me oskame vahendit kasutada. Kas me aga oskame kasutada meie ellu järk-järgult imbunud suhtlustarkvara?

Õnneks on enamus ettevõtteid saanud aru suhtlustarkvara potentsiaalist kontorisuhtluse parendamisel. Hoopis üllatavam on aga üks peamine põhjus, miks just avatud kontoritega suurfirmad täna aktiivselt suhtlustarkvara kasutamist propageerivad – selleks on müra vähenemine! Siinkohal tulebki appi suhtlustarkvara, millega on võimalik sõnumeid edastada ilma ümbritsevaid kolleege segamata – lisaks jääb konkreetne jälg edastatud teabest.

Minu arvates üks olulisemid suhtlustarkvara funktsioone (lisaks sõnumineerimisele, muidugi) on olekute määramine.

Head suhtlemist!

Yesterday evening the six month of learning developing and pitching culminated in “AJUJAHT” entrepreneurhip contest final gala at ARIGATO.

Six months ago the founder of Raybike, Raino Sinisalu, come to Connect Estonias office and showed us his invention… Raybike. It had small wheels, dirty plywood frame and steering system, covered with black tape. Though it was fun to test drive in our hallway. Raino come to us to get advice, how to raise money for developing his invention and how to get the sales going.

As the idea was too raw for investors to pitch we suggested him to enter the AJUJAHT contest and that he did. Besides all the other things, they got a 20 000 eur Grand Prize. Way to go!

Oh… almost forgot… They had to give a promise that during this present year, they have to sell at least 1000 Raybikes. Lets go shopping and help them keep their promise!

Yesterday mornig we had a morning seminar with Aleksander Pulver and a panel with entrepreneurs. Seminar had a great feedback from many of almost a hundred guest and we will certainly do it again in the future.

Here are only some of the TIPs we gathered:

1. Do not listen to others “war stories”, because people tend to speak about things that have happened in the past, the way they think at the present moment, that things happened in the past. So often the stories are a bit different than actual actions in the past.
2. Eero Tohver said that listening to others “war stories” is good because it may open Your mind to other dimensions….

Share Your experience… are “war stories” good to read or not?

3. Aleksander Pulver told that it is proven that Christian entrepreneurs worry less and are happier because they have HOPE…

4. Kaur Lohk: If You are sitting in a room with 5 optimists, it is likely that Your business will go down sooner or later! What You need to add is an “asshole” who will doubt in Your ideas and gets You down to Earth.

5. Eero Tohver: When me and my friends went to establish our first company, we did not have a clue what will the business be, BUT we had a really awesome name for the company.

6. Andrei Korobeinik said that failure in business can actually be a cheaper or more expensive lesson in life. There is no point in taking it too dramatically.

7. Bruno Lill told me later that he does not recommend anyone to start a business at the same time with having a baby in the family. That is because then You know that You are needed in two different places at the same time.
Talking about quitting a job and starting a business… just go for it, if You are certain that You can do it better than anyone else so far.

Also have a look at the PHOTOS and see You at our next event already next month!

Our Springboard panel for IPS OÜ, yesterday afternoon, was really enjoyable and objective at the same time. Panelist were very into the topic and they all are the best in Estonia one can get! We salute the panelists and of course Triin Kask from IPS OÜ.
Special thanks to Kredex and Lehar Kütt!

Comment from Triin Kask:

Springboardi tagasiside:

We are proud to announce that on Wednesday, 22th of February 2012 we are having very interesting Springboard with Innovative Parking Solutions OÜ! That team has developed an automatic parking device and service around it that guarantees you’ll get NO parking penalties and enables you to forget all the annoying details when parking your car in a paid parking area.
